Some options are mandatory when configuring. Currently, 880’s are the only helmet that you can remove options. The 1836 helmet will always ship from the manufacturer as an NFPA certified helmet. Helmet shells have been discontinued.
Helmets are made-to-order. Due to the fact that helmets have a 10 year NFPA shelf life, we do not stock many helmets, especially if they are not NFPA ie. no eye protection. Our stocking configuration is part # C-TRD-51m2a1221. MSA’s average lead time is 6-8 weeks for custom configured helmets.

It is very rare that we have coupon codes available. Some items have item-specific codes listed in the description. The prices on our website are very competitive so there is not a lot of room for discounts. Most codes happen around the holidays. Anything added to a helmet after market voids the NFPA certification. This even includes stickers. If the helmet wasn’t tested with it originally at the manufacturer, it technically voids NFPA.

Local pickup is an option on the checkout page for our Illinois and Wisconsin customers. Note: since most of our items are in our IL headquarters warehouse, WI pickups may take longer. Once your item is ready, we will send you an email!
