The Cairns 880 Fire Helmet combines a traditional Chicago design with modern materials for durability and firefighter safety. It’s constructed with a rugged thermoplastic shell and features an adjustable suspension system for a secure, comfortable fit. This fire helmet design is for presentation purposes only and should not to be used as personal protective equipment.
- 6″ silk-screened eagle or 6″maltese available
- No tetrahedrons or impact cap
- Black edge trim with D-ring helmet hanger
- Has overhead suspension/ratchet and economy liner
The primary difference between the MSA Cairns 880 Structural Helmet and the MSA Cairns 880 Presentation Helmet is their intended use: structural helmets are fully compliant safety gear for the fireground, whereas presentation helmets are purely for display, parades, or retirement gifts and do not provide any protective certification
